According to the information from HDB InfoWEB, the HDB Registered Renovation Contractors' Scheme (RRCS) was introduced to regulate the activities of renovation contractors when they carry out renovation works in HDB flats. This is to ensure the structural integrity of HDB buildings, minimal unsightly alteration to the form of HDB buildings and safety of the living environment.

HDB Registered Renovation Contractors (RRCs) are required to observe and comply with the terms and conditions governing the HDB RRCs Scheme. HDB will take appropriate action against HDB RRCs who have infringed the terms of the registration scheme.

You can search for an HDB Registered Renovation Contractor near your home by clicking on the map and selecting the postal sector from HDB InfoWEB portal. It enables you to retrieve information on the renovation contractors who have been registered with HDB.

Please note:

• Registered Renovation Contractors with status 'Active' are allowed to apply for renovation permit and carry out renovation works in HDB flats.

• Registered Renovation Contractors with status 'Suspended/Debarred/Terminated/Not renewed' are not allowed to apply for renovation permit and carry out renovation works in HDB flats.

• Information of infringement history is based on past 24 months' records.
